On behalf of Association of Agricultural Technology in Southeast Asia (AATSEA), and the Organizing Committees, I cordially invite you to participate the 14th International Conference on Integration of Science and Technology for Sustainable Development 2026 (14th ICIST 2026) which will be scheduled in December 11-14, 2026. The theme of the Conference is “Soil, water and environmental conservation, biological diversity, food security/safety and sustainable agriculture”. The conference will be hosted by Da Nang Biotechnology Center (DBC, https://dbc.danang.gov.vn/) and organized at NALOD Hotel and Convention Center (Da Nang city, Vietnam).

Call for papers

INTRODUCTION

The conference has been successfully organized in the past in Thailand, Lao PDR. Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia, India and China. As we have known, the sustainable development goals (SDGs) that are interconnected have been formulated in 2015 by the United Nations in order to spur global development until 2030. We would like to sustain this conference where scientists and other development partners meet together to stimulate discussion and share best practices through high quality research and impactful solutions toward societal development. The Association of Agricultural Technology in Southeast Asia (AATSEA) has been organizing the International Conference on various topics in agricultural science and technology and related fields that are needed for the sustainable development of human being. AATSEA realizes its responsibility to serve the community by providing education, research and development in agricultural biology, science and technology, particularly in the multi-disciplinary aspects. Accordingly, this conference will be held in order to strengthen international networks among academic members, researchers, scientists, industry players and other interested stakeholders in agricultural science and technology. It is also aimed to serve as a venue for knowledge exchange and discussion among those seeking for new vision and insight towards the advancement of agriculture. For the technical point of view, the conference will explore various topics in the following parallel sessions:

  • Session 1: Modern Organic Agriculture, Smart Farms and AI
  • Session 2: Microbial Biotechnology
  • Session 3: Soil, water and Environment
  • Session 4 :Plant Biotechnology and Plant Pest and Disease Management
  • Session 5: Animal Biotechnology (Fisheries Sciences, Entomology)
  • Session 6: Food Security, Food Safety, Food Science and Postharvest Technology
  • Session 7: Agricultural Policies, Agribusiness Management & Agricultural Development
  • Session 8: Climate resilient agricultural practices and Climate Change
  • Session 9: Circular Bioeconomy and Green Technologies
  • Session 10: General Sciences and Technological innovation

CALL FOR PAPERS

The organizing committee cordially invite you to submit the abstract of your paper. The submission form and abstract (300 words) of A4 form are available for downloading at www.aatsea.org. Academics, researchers, scientists and all those involved, in one way or another, in various topics shall submit abstracts through online submission (www.aatsea.org).

The full manuscripts may be submitted for publication in the International Journal of Agricultural Technology (IJAT). The submitted paper must follow the instructions to authors of International Journal of Agricultural Technology (IJAT) and it shall undergo peer review process before finally accepted for publication. Please note that IJAT is indexed in SJR-Scopus indexed journal. Moreover, you can decide to publish the full manuscript in conference proceedings.

  • April 2026 : 2nd Announcement
  • July 2026 : Final Annoucement
  • Not later than 15 July 2026 : Early registration
  • Not later than 15 August 2026 : Abstract submission
  • Not later than 30 September 2026 : Full manuscript submission
  • 11 December 2026 : Registration on desk, Workshop on AATSEA certified
  • 12 December 2026 : Conference day
